PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 2, 2012) - The Rutgers men's and women's basketball programs will host a fall camp for boys grades two through six and girls grades two through eight on Thursday and Friday, November 8-9, at the Rutgers Athletic Center. Head Coaches Mike Rice and C. Vivian Stringer will oversee a clinic staff comprised of Scarlet Knight coaches and student-athletes in a clinic designed to stress fundamental basketball.
The clinic will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on each day and will include drills, motivational lectures, game performance and individual instruction. All New Jersey public schools are closed Nov. 8-9 for the NJEA Teacher’s Convention.
The fee for the two-day clinic is $100.00. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt, tickets to the Rutgers men's basketball season opener versus St. Peter’s on Nov. 9, tickets to a Scarlet Knights’ women's basketball contest and a self improvement workout guide.
