PISCATAWAY, NJ – Junior guard Cappie Pondexter (Chicago, IL) nailed a three-pointer with 5.4 seconds remaining to lift Rutgers (7-4) to a come-from-behind 56-53 victory over No. 18/17 Ohio State (9-3) at the Louis Brown Athletic Center on Sunday. Pondexter scored the game’s final seven points after RU fell behind 53-49 with under three minutes to play.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Junior Cappie Pondexter scored 23 points and senior Shalicia Hurns added 12 points, 10 rebounds and five steals to lead the 25th-ranked Rutgers women’s basketball team past No. 19 TCU, 73-65, Sunday afternoon at thr RAC. The victory snaps a four-game losing streak for the Scarlet Knights (4-4) and gives TCU (6-1)its first loss of the season.

LSU led the entire game, although Rutgers cut the lead to three points early in the second half.
