PISCATAWAY, N.J. – For the fourth straight year, Rutgers will play in the Jimmy V Women’s Basketball Classic. The Scarlet Knights will host Florida on Monday, December 7 at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. The contest- the eighth annual Jimmy V Women’s Classic - will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Current WNBA players Essence Carson, Kia Vaughn and New York Liberty General Manager Carol Blazejowski are set to have their caricatures unveiled on the famed walls of the landmark steakhouse.

June 1, 2009 BIG EAST Releases Women’s Basketball Home and Away Schedule
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the home and away opponents for the 2009-10 women’s basketball season. The league selected new repeat opponents for eight of the league’s 16 teams, including Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights will no longer face Connecticut twice during the regular season.

April 25, 2009 Rutgers Women’s Basketball Honors its Own at Annual Awards Banquet
NEW BRUNWICK, N.J. - The Rutgers women’s basketball program held its annual banquet and awards dinner Friday evening at the Hyatt New Brunswick. The Scarlet Knights handed out their annual team honors and letterwinner awards. Junior Epiphanny Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year in a vote among her peers. Prince averaged a team-best 19.5 point and 2.8 assists per game in 33 games.
