Rutgers to Play Florida in 2009 Jimmy V Women’s Classic |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – For the fourth straight year, Rutgers will play in the Jimmy V Women’s Basketball Classic. The Scarlet Knights will host Florida on Monday, December 7 at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. The contest- the eighth annual Jimmy V Women’s Classic - will be broadcast on ESPN2. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Palm Restaurant will unveil caricatures of two former Scarlet Knights on Wednesday, June 3 at the Tribeca location in Manhattan. Current WNBA players Essence Carson, Kia Vaughn and New York Liberty General Manager Carol Blazejowski are set to have their caricatures unveiled on the famed walls of the landmark steakhouse. |

BIG EAST Releases Women’s Basketball Home and Away Schedule |
| PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the home and away opponents for the 2009-10 women’s basketball season. The league selected new repeat opponents for eight of the league’s 16 teams, including Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights will no longer face Connecticut twice during the regular season. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Forward/Center Monique Oliver Monique Oliver will suit up for Rutgers University beginning in the fall of 2009, Rutgers head coach C. Vivian Stringer has announced. She was the No. 6 ranked prospect, according to ESPN’s HoopGurlz, in the 2009 class. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers junior Epiphanny Prince and freshman Nikki Speed have accepted invitations to attend the 2009 USA Basketball National Team Trials. Prince is one of 29 players competing for a spot for the Women’s World University Games which will take place July 1-11 in Belgrade, Serbia. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women’s basketball will participate in the 2009 US Virgin Islands Paradise Jam at University of Virgin Islands, it has been released by Basketball Travelers. The event is celebrating its tenth anniversary and this marks the Scarlet Knights’ third appearance in the competitive tournament. |

Rutgers Women’s Basketball Honors its Own at Annual Awards Banquet |
| NEW BRUNWICK, N.J. - The Rutgers women’s basketball program held its annual banquet and awards dinner Friday evening at the Hyatt New Brunswick. The Scarlet Knights handed out their annual team honors and letterwinner awards. Junior Epiphanny Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year in a vote among her peers. Prince averaged a team-best 19.5 point and 2.8 assists per game in 33 games. |
