PISCATAWAY, NJ - On Monday, May 12, the second annual Gary Waters Golf Classic will be held at the Metuchen Country Club. Proceeds from this event will benefit Coaches vs. Cancer and Project Pride.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that raises money for cancer research. Project Pride is a Newark-based non-profit, all-volunteer organization that helps youths with academic programs, recreation programs and college scholarships.

Last year’s event, which was held at the Spring Lake Golf Club, raised more than $25,000 for Project Pride and Rutgers Athletics. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better.
