He enters his senior season with 1,202 career points and has a chance to crack the top 10 all-time in career points at Rutgers. Shields averaged 19.6 ppg. during the Scarlet Knights’ run to the NIT Championship Game last season, including a career-high 26-point outburst vs. West Virginia in the second round victory.
