PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men’s basketball today earned a multi-year academic progress rate (APR) score of 978 for data concluding with the 2012-13 academic year. The multi-year score marked the highest for Rutgers men’s hoops since the data began being tabulated in 2004-05 and was in the top 30 percent of all men’s basketball programs.
Rutgers earned a perfect APR score of 1000 for the 2012-13 academic year. It marked the third consecutive year that RU received a perfect single year score.
The Scarlet Knight’s multi-year scored ranked third among current American Athletic Conference men’s basketball programs.
The report is based on NCAA Division I APR data submitted by the institution for the 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years.
