PISCATAWAY, N.J. (January 20, 2014) – Rutgers University junior guard Myles Mack (Paterson, N.J.) has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll. Mack averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 assists and 3.0 steals last week, while shooting 42.0 percent from behind the arc and 90.0 percent at the charity stripe.
Mack scored 25 points, including the 1000th-point of his career, and dished out eight assists to help Rutgers to an 85-75 win over UCF last Wednesday evening at the RAC. Twenty-one of his points were registered in the second half of the win. He shot 6-of-10 to score a team-best 15 points, with four steals, in a 77-55 at Houston on Sunday afternoon.
Mack ranks first in the AAC in free throw percentage (.871), second in steals (2.1), fourth in assists (4.4), fifth in scoring (16.7), eighth in three-point field goals made (1.9) and ninth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6).
The recognition marks the second of the season for Mack, who was also cited on the league’s honor roll Dec. 16.
