PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Rutgers senior guard Jerome Coleman was named to the BIG EAST Pre-season All-BIG EAST Second Team. Coleman led the Scarlet Knights in scoring last season with a 16.8 ppg. average and scored 20 or more points in a game 10 times. He also set school records in three-point field goals made (99) and attempted (286) in a season.

Coleman was a BIG EAST Honorable Mention selection last year and was voted to the All-District Team (District II) by the United States Basketball Writer’s Association (USBWA). The Brooklyn, NY native was No. 1 in BIG EAST Conference games in 3-point FG made (3.75), with the 3.75 3-point FG made per game being a BIG EAST record.
