  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Sept. 24, 2012) - David Fedor joins the Rutgers coaching staff for the 2012-13 season as a Graduate Manager. Fedor – who will be studying Management and Labor Relations – was the Scarlet Knights Head Manager for the past three seasons and will take an increased role within the program this year.

Fedor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Rutgers University in May 2012. In his role as graduate manager, the Yardville, N.J., product will play an integral part in day-to-day operation of the team, including coordinating travel, assisting with video responsibilities and practice, hiring new managers, and directing Rutgers Men’s Basketball Summer Camps.

During his four years with RU basketball program, Fedor’s responsibilities included assisting with Rutgers basketball summer camps, video and working with players and staff to ensure practices ran smoothly.

Fedor has been instrumental in helping former RU assistant coach Jim Carr and his wife Natalie in the creation and development of “In Brayden’s Eyes, The Brayden Carr Foundation.”

In addition to his work with Rutgers basketball, Fedor also has a background in coaching. Since fall of 2010, he has been the head coach of Raritan Roundballer AAU Team. Fedor also served as an assistant coach for the Rutgers Jersey Shore Basketball Team in summer of 2011, before taking over as head coach this past season. He spent 2006-2011 working Mike Gatley’s Sharp Shooter Basketball Camps as a counselor and commissioner.

Fedor spent two years from 2010-2011 with the Nike Game 7 Marketing Division, assisting in the transformation of Rucker Park  and Gauchos Gym for the World Basketball Festival, Battle of the Boroughs and Tournament of Champions. Fedor dealt with high-profile athletes and was involved with staging and distribution of NIKE products.

Fedor was a two-year letterwinner at Steinert High School, serving as team captain in his final season.
