PISCATAWAY, N.J. (December 3, 2011) – Rutgers University head men’s basketball coach Mike Rice announced Saturday that freshman forward Malick Kone (Conakry, Guinea) will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this Tuesday (Dec. 6). Kone is expected to be sidelined approximately four weeks.

Kone played in the first seven games this season, averaging 5.6 points and 3.1 rebounds-per-contest.
