EQUIPMENT MANAGER
Gene Wells heads up the task of equipping and outfitting the Scarlet Knights men’s basketball team. A 1980 Rutgers College graduate with a degree in History, Wells was a standout on the Scarlet Knight track and field team, where he was team MVP his senior year and former school record-holder in the 800-meters.
A member of the Rutgers athletic department since 1983, Wells is also the equipment manager for men’s and women’s track and assists with other programs. A Piscataway High School graduate, Wells and his wife Janet reside in Piscataway with their son Brian (18) and daughter Meaghan (16).
