  • PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers University head baseball coach Fred Hill has announced that the final week of his 2004 summer camp will be tailored to those high school players interested in playing baseball at the college level. Players between the ages of 14-18 who consider themselves college prospects are encouraged to attend the camp, which will be run much like a college practice and include advanced drills and teaching techniques.

"We want to give kids a chance to see what they would encounter in a typical college program and hopefully a jumpstart on their senior years," said Hill.

The final week of camp, which runs from August 2-5, is open to players ages 10-18 and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. Those interested in attending are encouraged to call the baseball office at 732-445-7834 or e-mail at: baseball@scarletknights.com. Cost of the camp is $250.00. A downloadable application form can also be found at: http://www.scarletknights.com/camps/baseball.htm.
