WRSU Announces Baseball Broadcast Schedule
Station to carry 14 games this spring

  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 26, 2013) – WRSU, the official college station of Rutgers University, will broadcast 14 home Scarlet Knights baseball games in 2013, the station announced Tuesday. The schedule begins with the home opener April 2 and includes nine BIG EAST games at Bainton Field.

    A link to all broadcasts will be available on ScarletKnights.com. WRSU also streams online at wrsu.rutgers.edu in addition to 88.7 FM on the radio dial.

    Led by sports director Benjamin Yavelberg, WRSU will bring listeners play-by-play and analysis of every pitch from start to finish of each selected game, being the exclusive radio home of Rutgers baseball. The station is a non-commercial, non-profit radio station and is student-managed under the guidance of a faculty broadcast administrator. It is one of the oldest college radio stations in the country.
