PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Nov. 29, 2012) – The Rutgers baseball program is set to welcome seven new additions to the 2014 roster, head coach Fred Hill announced Thursday. The class is made up of three outfielders, one catcher, one pitcher and two players who can play the infield and pitch. Six are New Jersey natives.
The group includes SS/RHP Christian Campbell (Sayreville, N.J.), OF Mike Carter (Bloomfield, N.J.), C Chris Folinusz (Cranford, N.J.), RHP/1B Sean Kelly (Marlton, N.J.), OF Tom Marcinczyk (Middlesex, N.J.), RHP Sam Mines (Katonah, N.Y.) and OF TJ Perkowski (Monmouth Junction, N.J.).
“After a lot of hard work, our class has been assembled and we are excited about the caliber of players that have chosen us,” said Hill. “We are pleased with the academics of the incoming class and their accomplishments.”
