Continuing its spring break trip, Rutgers baseball will take on Virginia Tech at English Field Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The Scarlet Knights are 2-1 on the trip so far and have won four of the last five games overall.

Including two in the bottom of the ninth, host VCU rallied for five unanswered runs from the seventh inning to defeat Rutgers baseball, 7-6, in the finale of the PK5 Classic Sunday at The Diamond. Brian O’Grady led the Scarlet Knights with a 4-for-4 game.

March-15-14 Rosa Pitches Baseball Past Lafayette, 5-1
Freshman right-hander Gaby Rosa pitched seven effective innings to lead Rutgers baseball to a 5-1 victory over Lafayette Saturday at The Diamond. It was the first career start and victory for Rosa, as the Scarlet Knights increased their winning streak to four games.

March-14-14 Baseball Runs Past Buffalo in Extra Innings, 6-3
Senior Brian O’Grady (Warminster, Pa.) connected for a two-run triple in the top of the 10th inning to lift Rutgers baseball to a 6-3 win over Buffalo in the opener of the PK5 Classic at The Diamond Friday. It was the third straight win for the Scarlet Knights.
