| PISCATAWAY, N.J. The Rutgers baseball team hosts Villanova this weekend at Bainton Field in a series that should help shape the BIG EAST Tournament field. The Scarlet Knights and Wildcats open their series with a Saturday doubleheader at noon and finidh with a 1:00 p.m. contest Sunday at Bainton Field. Sunday's game is Senior Day - RU's final home game of the season. |

The Hawks (29-10) scored three runs in the first four innings and used a strong performance on the mound from the trio of Kyle Breese, Tim Ballard and Justin Esposito to escape victory over the Scarlet Knights (19-23-1). |
